He is a Fellow member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), holds a Bachelor Degree in Commerce and Bachelor Degree in Law. He is also a Registered Valuer (RV) and Insolvency Professional enrolled with Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI). He is the Founder of Genicon Strategic Advisors Private Limited and Managing Partner of M/s.M.Alagar & Associates, Company Secretaries. He has more than 15 years of practice as a Company Secretary and 20 years of experience in areas like Corporate and Securities Laws, Listing Regulations, Post Listing Regulations under SEBI, FEMA, IPR, Due Diligence, Merger and Acquisitions, ESOP, Transaction Advisory Services, Drafting and vetting of transaction documents, business and option valuation. Before venturing into practice, he worked for Merchant Banking Division of leading financial service provider and Corporate Legal Firm. He has handled more than 150 valuation of business and represented buy / sell side of the transaction for negotiation of deal.
